Chelsea striker Fernando Torres has said that he is enjoying life at Stamford Bridge more this season than when he was a shadow player to Drogba last season. The Spaniard has scored more than five goals so far this season after only finding the target 11 times for the club last season.

Manager Di Matteo has decided to make the former Liverpool striker the main man up front since the departure of Didier Drogba. This seems to boost the striker's confidence a bit but we all know he still has a lot to prove because we know how good Torres was when he was at Liverpool before moving to Chelsea. He scored a fantastic goal against Arsenal helping Chelsea to win 1-2 at Emirate and recently scored a nice header against Norwich which we eventually won 4-1.
"I am enjoying it more this season with the kind of players I have in the middle behind me," he said. "It is giving me a lot of support and I hope to improve, trying to create more chances for the team. I don't shoot on goal too much but even with this I am scoring goals so the team is going to improve not just me, everyone."
The super striker further says "With this different style of football we are playing this season we are at the top of the league and we can dream of a very good season again. "I had a very difficult beginning at Chelsea but that is in the past now, and I am enjoying the present with a great group of players and we are building a big team."
Torres report to his country for the international duty but without Mata who has been omitted by the Spanish coach. After the international matches, the club resumes for the domestic league to face another tough rivals away to Spurs at white hart lane. AVB will welcome his former club that treated him unkindly last season either in cold or warm arms
