David Luiz could be Chelsea captain in future

Would you not love to see David Luiz with the club's captain armband leading the squad out on the pitch? To me this Brazilian defender will be a perfect replacement for John Terry.

Luiz already assumed the leadership role of a center defender whenever Terry is out, he further displays his leadership qualities towards his national team mate Oscar, helping him to adapt to the club quickly. Luiz will also do same to Neymar if he eventually agrees to sign for Chelsea in future.

I have been entertaining thoughts about this dude being one among Chelsea's greatest legend in history not knowing that a lot of fans are already predicting his captaincy at the club if Terry and Lampard decide to leave the club. Both players are above 30 years and already affected by the Roman's contract rule policy at the club. Lampard is out of contract and is free to leave at the end of the season but Terry still has 2 years left.
Currently, the number 3 captain at the club is Petr Cech but i think Luiz is the perfect man to wear the armband in future. Who possibly could fits in for the captaincy? Mikel is definitely a wrong choice, and he can't lead Chelsea when he hardly honour national calls for his country Nigeria.

David Luiz has been a favorite of the WAGNH community since Chelsea signed him in January 2011 from Benfica, and i believe no eyebrows would be raised if the Brazilian is given the armband at some point in the future. As it turns out, that every Blues fan admire the Brazilian. In this article
Luiz character popularity at chelsea could lead to captaincy, David Luiz discusses his leadership role at the club and here's a quote from the player discussion in the article "I'm a leader, that's my personality. I'm always trying to help my teammates as I'm a positive person.

I'm trying to show what I can be, what I can add not only for the team but for the club. I always try to understand the mystique of a club and how I can represent it on or off the field. I talk about that a lot with Oscar and Ramires. I often say that we are the mirror of our team on and off the pitch."

We all heard how instrumental Luiz has been to Oscar's acclimatization in London and to confirm it, just watch the players play and celebrate their goals together with a Brazilian dance style. It is obvious that the center back is doing a perfect job on his side. He made some additional comments about helping Oscar settle into life at Chelsea a few weeks ago thus:

"Oscar will be a huge success in Europe, that is for sure. Maybe he will need a few more kilos but, yes, he is going to be a big success. Every day he comes to my home because we have Brazilian food and he can speak the language with me. I try to help him because I know how hard it is to come to a country where you don't speak the language. I know a little bit about the city and there is Brazilian food in my home, so we joke and everyone is happy."

Well i do not certainly say David Luiz will claim the captain's armband in future but just saying that he could be the perfect guy to be the leader and he will be a good one if given the privilege. Or who would be your suggestion for Chelsea future captain?
