Four players Chelsea Should sign in January transfer

The club is aiming to win a lot of trophies this season, the Premier League, FA cup, Carling cup and if possible Champions League again. But the bitter truth is that, the Blues team is not yet stable. They are still lapses within the squad that ought to be fix immediately before these competitions get serious next year. Despite the fact that, the Chelsea starts the season with three straight wins and a draw, but there are two areas of concern in the squad.

The defensive midfield and center back role is the major areas to touch. We all saw the players fumbling against Atletico Madrid in Monaco and this is the right time for Di Matteo and Abramovich to put heads together and adjust the team.

Here are four potential players i think the Blues need to add in January to reinforce the team.
1. Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, 23-year old Montpellier Center-Back.

David Luiz is getting too attacking minded, leaving the defence under pressure all the time when the opponents are on counter attacks. Cahill on the other end is a liability as a center-back because he doesn’t seems so good at winning possessions. Roberto Di Matteo need to employ a deep back line and Yanga-Mbiwa is a good choice, because he doesn’t charge out link Luiz and he is more adept at winning back possession.
He can be snapped up cheaply considering his expiring contract.

2. Étienne Capoue, 24 year-old Toulouse, Defensive Midfielder.

John Mikel Obi is no doubt playing the best football of his life. The problem with playing both Mikel and Lampard in the defensive midfield is that, Lampard is a goal minded midfielder. Lets not forget that, he is been exposed as a defensive midfielder as he often forgets his role leaving Mikel alone to be over shadowed. Lampard doesn’t help Mikel in adequately protecting the back four. This is where Etienne Capoune comes in.

If you watch Capoue, you will be impressed by his physique, his winning attitude and ability to tackle perfectly.

3. Marouane Fellani, 24-year-old Everton Midfielder:

Chelsea are keen to beef up their central midfield as the persistence effective role of Frank Lampard is depreciating. It is understood that Fellani has express his intentions to leave Everton and the Blues are lining up a move for him. The Belgian is regarded as a harden midfielder who can play behind attacking midfielders like Oscar, Hazard, VictorMoses, Mata, Ramires and Marko Marin.

4. Radamel Falcao, 26-year-old Atlético Madrid Centre Forward:

Chelsea just have to sign this Athletico Madrid forward. He is strong in the air, can turn defenders with ease and is an excellent finisher. If Torres can’t deliver, then Falcao will be on his way to Stamford Bridge in January. We are know he is the reigning world striker currently.
