Florent Malouda and Goal Keeper Hilario are left out of the Blues' Champions League squad for their European 2012-13 season campaign. Both players would be absent during the Campaign with the Frenchman been axed down to play with the reserve U-21 squads.
As the West London club excessively strengthens their attacking ranks with the signings of new young talented players with the likes of Oscar, Eden Hazard, Marko Marin, Florent Malouda seems to fall out of favor with manager Roberto Di Matteo. He featured only few games for Chelsea last season and is yet to be featured this season in any game; who knows if that could be the end of his story at Chelsea.
A few number of clubs declared their interest in Malouda including his former club Lyon but it has been rumored that his wage demands seems to be the only barrier to his move. The 33-man Champions league squad list includes all summer signings with Cesar Azpilicueta and Victor Moses making the list. The list consist of 25 A-List players and 8 B-List players.
