Chelsea U-19 squad impressed throughout their U-19 European tournament tie at their Cobham training ground, but failed to overcome the Russian side CSKA Moscow. Lucas Piazon showcase his talent with an impressive display but unfortunately he couldn't lead the West London side to victory as they lost 1-2 to CSKA Moscow in their first NextGen opener.
The young blues despite being the better side for long periods of the clash at Cobham, succumb to defeat finally. The Blues made an excellent start to the first-half, taking the lead after ten minutes of play through Patrick Bamford, but the visitors from Russia hit back with two goals to go in ahead at the break. Chelsea first-team Eden Hazard's 19-year-old brother (Thorgan), Brazilian forward Piazon and English defender Nathaniel Chaolbah all featured in the match.
