See What Jose Mourinho Promise to Chelsea First Team Squad Next Season

Chelsea current coach Jose Mourinho had promised to give some youth players from the Chelsea academy a chance to prove themselves in the first team squad for next season. The experienced manager who said this in an interview few days ago explains that, he would like to introduce about 3, 4 or 5 youth talented players in the club’s first team for next season.

Chelsea academy is known to be one of the most successful academies currently in England having won 2 of their last 3 FA Youth Cups and beating Manchester City 3-1 away.

“Next season, Ruben will not be a kid in the development process. And we will do the same with two or three or four players”

Mourinho said.

Despite their impressive performances at youth level so far, John Terry is the only player to have made it to Chelsea first team star from the club’s academy and it looks like few youngsters will also be giving the chance in the premier league to shine soon.

With the Club’s Under-19s winning the UEFA Youth League title earlier this month, Mourinho vows to pick the best players from the youth side to set them for more action next season.

One player Mourinho is obviously ready to call to his first team squad next season is England Under-19 ace Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

While the others who could make the list are Izzy Brown, Andreas Christensen, Solanke and Nathan Ake.

Ruben already made his debut for Chelsea against Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League in December and we will surely be seeing more of his action next season.
