Some few days ago, Jose Mourinho stated on Chelsea's official website that he can't go a whole season without 3 strikers. We now see the arrival of French international Loic Remy from QPR after Fernando
Torres finally agrees to move on a long term loan to AC Milan for two years.
The news of the signing of Remy for £8 million was announced on Friday night via Chelsea's official website. The former QPR striker has supposedly failed a medical with Liverpool two weeks ago but he now has his chance with the Blues after Fernando Torres loan move to AC Milan.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are said to have activated a 10million euros (£7.9million) clause in the 27-year-old's contract. A statement on the Chelsea website on Friday read: "Chelsea Football Club and AC Milan have agreed terms for the two-year loan deal of Fernando Torres to the Italian club. "The move is now subject to Fernando agreeing personal terms with AC Milan and passing a medical examination."
Just when the move was confirmed done, Jose Mourinho quickly add to his prolific strikers Loic Remy to make them three in number. We now have Diego Costa, Didier Drogba and Loic Remy as the number 3 striker. Remy a prolific player, who was on loan at Newcastle last season, scored 14 goals in 26 league appearances. So we see some quality in his striking force to count on.
