The uefa champions league continue its tie tonight with Juventus, Real
Madrid, Arsenal and Benfica all seeking win to qualify to the knockout stage. Chelsea
will travel to Maribor tomorrow to win and lead the group in other to qualify
to the next stage with ease.
The London club are currently leaders of Group G
with 7 points while Schalke O4 are runners up with just 5 points. Chelsea in
their first tie, smashed Maribor 6-0 at Stamford Bridge and the Blue soldiers
will definitely want to look for near similar results as they play away from
home to extend their point reach 10.
Chelsea no doubt has been in fantastic form recently with Cesc Fabregas doing all the
mid-field work and feeding the strikers with good assist. Meanwhile, first choice striker
Diego Costa is back from injury and was featured in their last game against
Queens Park Rangers but I don’t think Jose Mourinho would like to risk his
health condition as he still battles with injury problems.
Therefore, veteran striker
Didier Drogba may get the call up to start the game as Loic Remy is still
nursing his injury currently. Young center back Zouma may pair with Cahill
while Ramires return from injury to play in the mid-field with Mikel Obi.
