PSG are planing to reach an agreement to take Chelsea number one goal keeper Petr Cech on loan from Stamford Bridge. The Czech international who has lost his number one position in the club due to the return of Thibaut Courtois from Athletico Madrid could be leaving to either PSG or Monaco.
Courtois 22 has been on loan to the Spanish champions Athletico Madrid for three years before returning to his parent club to claim his number one spot.
Cech has been Chelsea's best goal keeper for a decade but it seems Jose Mourinho will not be missing him if he decides to leave to another club. 22 year old Courtois has been doing pretty well to replace the veteran goal stopper and Mourinho heaped all praise for the young keeper in our 2-0 win over Leicester on Saturday in which the manager compare him with Cech.
"It's important at a big club to have the kind of goalkeeper who's almost sleeping during the match, and suddenly in the right moment he says 'yes, i'm here'," he said.
"Thibaut did this, the same way Petr did so many times for us."
Meanwhile, as Cech remains destined to leave the blues, it seems like Fernando Torres will remain at Stamford Bridge this season as Jose Mourinho said he can't do without three strikers for a season. Torres has not started any game so far this season as he watch Diego Costa notched 2 goals in two EPL matches.
It looks like the Spanish international will be getting few matches to play but the manager indicated that Torres will get enough time to prove himself again.
"At this moment we are playing one match a week but that's over next week, then we have Capital One Cup, Champions League and Premier League matches all together," Mourinho said.
"We will have three matches every week in the September, October, November and December so it will be easier for all of them because they will all be playing.
"I want three strikers in the team. i cannot do a season without three strikers. i want him to stay."
So i thing Mourinho is right, Torres still got the experience we need in a player to win matches. We got Didier Drogba too. We will definitely have a great season.
