Italian giants AC Milan are ready to sign Fernando Torres from Chelsea. Now it really looks like Torres would be living Stamford Bridge despite Jose Mourinho saying he want the Spanish to stay because he can't do a season without three strikers.
AC Milan are rebuilding the squad under the new management of their former striker Filippo Inzaghi and after selling Mario Balotelli to Liverpool for £16million, they want Torres to replace the Italian at San Siro.
With the signing of Diego Costa and Didier Drogba by Mourinho during the summer, it is apparent that Fernando Torres will have only few matches to play. So if Torres is leaving to AC Milan, it then means Chelsea will have to secure the signing of striker Mattia Destro from Roma as a backup striker.
