According to Chelsea's official website Chelseafc.com, Eden Hazard has tender apologies for kicking a ball boy and receiving his matching order in Wednesday night's Capital One Cup semi-final second leg in Swansea.
The Chelsea midfielder was sent off late in the game after an incident involving one of the ball boys trying to delay the game by holding on the ball. Chelsea latter invited the boy into the changing room to speak to Hazard and they both exchange apologies.
Eden Hazard told Chelsea TV : 'The boy put his whole body onto the ball and I was just trying to kick the ball and I think I kicked the ball and not the boy. I apologies.
'The ball boy came in the changing room and we had a quick chat and I apologized and the boy apologized as well, and it is over. Sorry.'
