Cahill not comfortable with Di Matteo's rotation policy

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill has earlier after Blues defeat to Shakhtar in the Champions, said he doesn't fancy his manager's policy of rotating players at will. The England defender who made the switch to Stamford Bridge from Bolton in January last year, has been outstanding, giving Chelsea break-through goals at several occasions.

He even won the Champions League in his first season with the club with his contributions. When John Terry was suspended for the Champions League finals, he paired David Luiz in the central defence to stop Bayern Munich hot players from penetrating the defence.

Meanwhile, Roberto Di Matteo's persistence rotation system has not really favor Cahill and the young talented player is not cool with that. He has seen David Luiz preferred to him regularly under Di Matteo's rotation system, and has started only five Premier League games for the Blues including the one against Manchester United on Sunday but only because John Terry was banned.

This is a situation that has provoked frustration from Cahill. "It has been frustrating for me at times this season, I'm not going to lie -like on Tuesday night in the Champions League [away at Shakhtar, when John Terry started], the rotating," Cahill told the Sunday Mirror. "I think you can accept it if you are playing the same amount of games as everybody else. That's the only way you can come to terms with it."

Cahill also featured in yesterday's Capital one Cup tie against Manchester United. A thrilling encounter that saw Chelsea triumph 5-4 AET to move forward while United got out of the Capital one cup. Chelsea will now travel to Leeds United for the next Capital one tie in November 11.
