John Terry after accepting guilt for racially abusing Anton Ferdinand has offered apologies to the FA and every one for his misdemeanor with a promise never to act as such again. But Chelsea has decided to punish the Blues defender due to his act of discrimination.
The club announced that his punishment will not be disclosed to the public and at the same time we were assured that his captain-ship has not been stripped off. Shortly before kick-off at White Hart Lane, we Chelsea fans demands to know the fate of John Terry with regards to his captain-ship at the club but Chelsea Football Club has given us the assurance that He still remains the captain of the club.
Bruce Buck, the club chairman, told those who were asking 'if John Terry would still be the captain of Chelsea Football Club' that, JT will be wearing the armband when the team participate in the next Champions League qualifier, in the Ukraine.
Although we know the decision will receive a lot of criticism from many sources, but at least we know the value of John and how important he is to the club. John Terry still remains the leader and will captain the boys for the Champions League on Tuesday.
