We heard reports from a source that Juventus are hoping to throw a bid for Chelsea striker Fernando Torres latter in January. According to football italia which discloses rumours from Britain that, the Old lady might consider Fernando Torres as a possible alternative to Fernando Llorente.
Director general Beppe Marotta also confirmed that they are still working on January reinforcements for the attack. Llorente of Athletic Bilbao remains the top target for Juventus but according to Talksport, the Bianconeri are also keeping an eye on Chelsea Fernando Torres.
Juventus had already picked up Nicklas Bendtner from Arsenal on loan as a stop-gap solution hoping they could tempt Llorente away from Bilbao in January.
Fernando Torres is also a possible option if the Biaconeri did not succeed in bringing in Llorente. Although it would be an unusual move as £50m signing Torres is considerably more expensive than Llorente and has been very inconsistent in recent years except if they could show some faith.
Meanwhile, a move for Llorente could instead be possible because Llorente's contract expires in June 2013 and his club will be eager not to lose him on a free transfer.
