Good news to hear that, the two Blues veteran defenders has return to training in a bid to recover from injuries for Chelsea trip to QPR. It has been reported that, the Chelsea duo defenders Cole and Terry could play in Chelsea away game at Loftus Road on Saturday if they fully return to fitness.
Both defenders were forced to withdraw from England Tuesday's World cup qualifying match against Ukraine which ended in a 1-1 draw at Wembley. It is good to hear that they are both responding to rehabilitation positively.
However, the main reason for the whole issue of returning to fitness is whether Terry and Cole could line up in a pre-match hand shake with QPR's defender Anton Ferdinand this Saturday, after a showdown on racial abuse case against Mr. John Terry which fellow team mate testified in his favor and got the Blues Captain exonerated.
Although it still remains unclear whether either of the defenders could be lined up for the game at QPR but reports reveals that, Terry is eager to play against QPR on Saturday and if he does, then i suggest a whole lot of at least a dramatic showdown could likely be unfold. Ashley Cole could also face Anton Ferdinand's QPR if he is fit enough to play on Saturday.
However, if Terry, Cole and Ferdinand all start on Saturday, the Premier League have no plans to abandon the pre-match handshake, despite the possibility of Ferdinand snubbing one or even both of
the Chelsea players.
