Daniel Sturridge still down with illness and yet to recover

Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge is glad to be included in the Olympics for Team GB. The England international had promise to help guide the Team GB into knock-out stages but unfortunately, he was hit by a pre-tournament meningitis and is still yet to recover. 

The 23-year-old blues striker came from bench to score an outstanding goal in a 3-1 win against UAE in their second group stage match. Tonight will be a night of tussle against Uruguay and Great Britain will make it to the next stage only if they avoid defeat.
