As the season is ripe to kick off, all teams are in preparation to
fight for the glory of titles. A team well prepared for the season is my
darling Chelsea. The last year Champions league winners has bring in new young talents to Stamford bridge.
And their performances so far in the pre-season matches are splendid and worthy
of praise. Although some are still yet to watch in the blue jersey like
Oscar who is currently playing well at the Olympics in London. Its no more news that Chelsea has sign in new
young talents this summer with the likes of Oscar, Hazard, Marin and De Bruyne
while other talents like Patrick van Aanholt, Jeffrey Bruma and Thibaut
Courtois are out on loan.
So lets take a look at these players to watch as the
season begins.
1. Lucas Piazon.
The 18 year old player has been given the jersey
number 35. The Kaka lookalike was Chelsea’s
young player of the year last season and his scoring against Paris Saint
Germain in Pre-season tour will not be a surprise to see this young lad record his
name on the team scoring sheet this season.
2. Josh McEachran
A technical gifted
player with a sheer innate quality this lad seems to posses, he was not just a
regular player at Chelsea
but was featured in few past matches and he had some killer incisive passes. A disappointing
loan deal to Swansea
city last year can not just hide his innate ability. He is a regular for England
U-21 squad.
3. Romelu Lukaku.
Lukaku is considered as the next Drogba and every Chelsea
fan thought he would be given the Legends shirt number 11. he was the most
wanted youngster in Europe when former Chelsea
boss Andre Villas Baos paid 18 pounds for him. He is not too fast, strong, good
in the air and a deadly finisher for Chelsea.
He has had a good pre-season with Chelsea so far as he scored a brace against Seattle Sounders but he needs to play regular in the first team. A loan deal is
likely but wherever he ends up, his talent could shine.
4. Ryan Bertrand.
The 22
year old left back is a sure first team regular for Chelsea this season. He made his first European
debut in a champion’s league final against Bayern Munich in May and is now
playing for Team GB at the Olympics. He will play second fiddle to Ashley cole
especially now that Ashley Cole’s contract is in doubt. Bertrand has had a
successful loan spell deals at Norwich, Reading and Forest.
5. Sam
Hutchinson.
A hot prospect with Chelsea from the youth squad after making his
debut in the first team in 2007, Sam Hutchinson was destined for stardom before
he was hit with series of injuries that forced him to retire young. After a
miraculous recovery from his kneel injury, Sam came out of retirement in 2011
and he was resigned by Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Oscar, hazard, Marko Marin and De Bruyne should not be under valued for their performances this season. So what do you have to say about these boys?
