Mourinho Extend Premiership Winner Medal to Former Player Andre Schurrle

Andre Schurrle despite leaving Chelsea in the January transfer window, was still honored by the Blues coach Jose Mourinho for a job well done during his stay at Stamford Bridge. Schurrle left Chelsea to Wolfsburg in the January transfer but will still be rewarded with a winner medal for his contribution to Chelsea winning the EPL title

The German International was sensational for Chelsea through out the first half of this season before his formed dropped perhaps due to his exploit at the World cup in Brazil which they won.
When he couldn't rejuvenate his form, Chelsea decides to let him go.

Awarding Schurrle with a medal shows a sign that there was no grudge over his exit from Chelsea. Which means that he can still return one day if his services are needed. Schurrle paid tribute to Chelsea team mates who won the title. "I didn't know that I'd get a medal when i didn't play most of the second half of the season," he told the BBC World Service.

"Jose Mourinho sent me a text to say that I'd get a medal and he ask me to come to the last game. That was very nice for me. I'm really happy for the boys. They played a very good second half of the season so, of course, for me, its good to get a medal but the boys did the work."

Schurrle als spoke more about his departure from Chelsea thus;

"I had the world cup, which was very perfect for me, and the start of the season was good as well. Then there came a little bit of a period for me where my body didn't feel very good, I was not clear in my head and i didn't have as many good moments for Chelsea. I wanted to come back to the Bundesliga, I wanted to feel a little bit more in the team and to get a bit more playing time. "I love Chelsea still, I'm not frustrated; it was a great experience."

That's pretty nice thing to do to a former player which Mourinho just did. That's why he is the Special one.
