Bayern Munich Could Sign This Chelsea Veteran Defender If The Club Fail to Renew His Contract

If Chelsea is still adamant with their policy of giving only one year contract extension to their players who has reached 30 years, then am afraid they might lose one of their best defender to German giants Bayern Munich.

The German side have already shown interest in Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovich should the player want to leave Chelsea.

Meanwhile, the 31-year-old Serbian is yet to open talks with the club over a new contract as his current deal expires in 2016. So my fears are what if Chelsea insists on a year contract and Ivanovich wants at least 2 years contract extension?

We will definitely lose him to either Bayern Munich or another big club. Right now the Serbian captain could be a target for Bayern in the January transfer window when he will be free to talk to foreign clubs.
