Karim Benzema could be on his way to Stamford Bridge

We got reports that Chelsea have been linked with a surprising move for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema as the London outfit looks to bring in another striker if eventually they succeed in selling Fernando Torres in the summer.

According to Caught Offside, the French international has been rumoured to be leaving the Bernabeu this summer with Real already lining up to sign either Edinson Cavani or Sergio Aguero which means Benzema might no longer find himself first choice.

The 25 year old has had a difficult season at Madrid scoring only eight goals this season compared to the 21 he grab last year.

Chelsea have also been linked with Jose Mourinho which means if the Special One returns to Stamford Bridge, he might take his Real forward with him. The Portuguese boss is a known admirer of Benzema’s and they would combine well for the Blues given the attacking talent already on display at the Bridge.
