Chelsea midfielder Benayoun ready to establish himself under Benitez

Chelsea midfielder Yossi Benayoun has promise to create impact in the Blues squad. The 32-year-old Israeli captain who was on loan to Arsenal and West Ham United 18 months ago after joining Chelsea from Liverpool, said he still has a role to play at Stamford Bridge despite the quality of midfielders the club have currently.

With the likes of Eden Hazard, Victor Moses, Juan Mata, Oscar, Frank Lampard, Marco Marin all fighting for a place in the starting line-up, Benayoun still believe he stand a chance to fight for a permanent place after appearing in two of the last four games for Rafa Benitez.

"I have been in four big clubs in England but the only one where I haven't really been able to show what I can do is Chelsea," Benayoun said. "That is because I got an Achilles injury and then I went on loan. "Hopefully now there is the chance for me. It is a big squad, a lot of quality, but I will do my best and hopefully it will be enough."
