Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has been ruled out for up to three weeks with a groin injury. The 30-year-old Czech Republic goalie was forced off with the problem during the Blues 2-1 win at Everton in the Premier League on Sunday.
When asked how long the shot stopper would be sidelined for, interim manager Rafael Benitez told the club's official website: "Two or three weeks. We are quite optimistic." Cech has played 31 games in all competitions for Chelsea this season. He was absent in Chelsea's home defeat to QPR on Wednesday.
