According to a French Source L'Equipe Football News, which claims that the Stamford Bridge side are on the verge to snap up Goodison Park star Fellani. The highly respected French Football News side said early today that Chelsea is ready to complete a deal to sign Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini before the end of the week.
The 25-year-old Toffees star has been strongly linked with a move to Stamford Bridge and is seen by some as a goal-scoring midfielder who can successfully replace veteran Frank Lampard, who appears to be set to leave the West London club in the summer when his contract comes to an end.
There is speculation that Fellaini has a £22m release clause and knowledge of that may well have hastened Chelsea's interest to sign the former Standard Liege man.
