Falcao vows to stay at Athletico Madrid until summer

Atletico Madrid super striker Radamel Falcao who has been linked with various club including Real Madrid, Manchester city and Chelsea has promise not to leave his club in January transfer window. The Colombian striker is highly needed by Chelsea owner Abramovich, who had promise to offer him a jumbo contract of over £200,000 per week salary.

All Blue fans will be delighted to have the 26-year-old world dangerous striker at Stamford Bridge who is currently taking La Liga by storm but it is unfortunate that he wish to stay at Atletico until at least the end of the season.
He said: "I recognize the great effort made by (Atletico president) Enrique Cerezo for me to stay at the club. "I thank God our results have been so positive and that we have done so well this season so far. My expectation is that I will be staying at the club until the end of the season." What a loyal personality if he keep his words as promise.

The Spanish club are also glad to welcome the words after sporting director Jose Luiz Perez Caminero gave an insight of the hard work made to keep Falcao at the club. Caminero said: "You have to appreciate the efforts made by the club. It is difficult to keep a player of his class. "But we have all benefited and are happy to have one of the best players in the world at this club."
