Didier Drogba's loan request to move back and play for his former club Chelsea was quickly turn down by FIFA. The Ivorian striker who left Stamford Bridge to Shanghai Shenhua in China, seeks for permission to train with the club to maintain match fitness until the African Nations cup commence in January.
His permission was granted after the Chinese Super League season was on break. Didier also request to join his former club on a short loan deal outside of transfer window. But however, FIFA have denied his request which means, the Chelsea legend can only train with the club but can not play any official games.
