Chelsea right-back Branislav Ivanovic has urge his team mates to brace up for another big challenge in the Barclays Premier League away to Tottenham Hotspurs at White Hart Lane. After the international break, the home domestic league will resume while Blues face another tough match with Spurs at the weekend.

Chelsea has won one of their big games against Arsenal with a 2-1 victory away at Emirate and now they have to prepare for another difficult challenge coming ahead. Chelsea has won just three of their past seven matches that followed immediately after the previous international break for the world cup qualifiers but this time, the Serbian right-back has encouraged his team mates to continue their winning mentality in other to improve in both competition.
Ivanovic who is determined not to slip up against Spurs next weekend, now manage by Chelsea former coach Andre-Villas-boas. made this statement thus:
"The international break is a good time to enjoy our position but there is a very important period coming up for us after the break," he said.
"We have some very tough games and they will be a great challenge for us. At the moment it's OK but the next two games will be very, very tough". "Its always very difficult to play the game after the international break, but especially when it's big opponents like Tottenham away. "Our games against Tottenham were very interesting and tough for both sides even before Andres went there.
Now it is especially so for both sides with our ex-manager. "It will be difficult in one way and in the other way we know what is the idea and what we can expect of them. The game will be decided by things like when you are back from your international duty and how tired you are. So it's going to be tough for us."
