Malouda set for Lyon move in January

Chelsea winger Florent Malouda could certainly return to his former club Lyon in January. The French man who has been snubbed by manager Di Matteo is now discussing terms with the French club.  And it looks like, he will end up going back home to his former club.

Malouda obviously enjoyed his five-years stay at Stamford Bridge but it seems that, his time in Chelsea is over after falling out of favor due to the influx of young talented midfielders.
The 32 year-old player has no chance again in Di Matteo's plans. He has been dropped for the Champions League matches and recently ordered to train and play with the Under 21 squad.

Malouda has been in talks with his former coaching staff and it seems Lyon would be more than happy to have the French international back home. "Our door is always open to former players, Lyon President JeaniMicheal Aulas admitted.
