Chelsea’s midfielder Ramires on
Tuesday had a joke with the media about Oscar’s initiation to Chelsea. The 25 year-old Brazilian had warned
his compatriot to prepare a song which he will sing in front of Chelsea players as part of
the initiation process. When Ramires arrived at Chelsea from Benfica, he chooses to sing Pais
Tropical by singer Jorge Benjor.
“I told him to prepare some music. He’ll need
to sing in front of the other Chelsea
players” Ramires informed the media ranks. “Whatever he needs, we’ll help,
because it’s no mystery to us. If he played in the Selecao and at Inter, he
will have no problem and will soon receive the applause of the fans.”
Oscar
will join a bunch of Brazilian Community at Chelsea, with Ramires, David Luiz and Lucas
Piazon all from Brazil. So I think he should have no problem adapting to the squad easily. Ramirez was called
for the National side's friendly
against Sweden
on Wednesday.
