Oscar dos Santos the new Chelsea signing has agreed a five year contract to stay at Stamford bridge until 2017. Oscar who is currently with the Brazilian team for the Olympic games in London was signed from Internacional on Wednesday for a fee believe to be around £25 million.
Oscar puts on a dramatic exhibition of midfield play against Egypt as Brazil opens their Olympic account on thursday with a 3-2 win. Speaking after the game, the midfielder told Globo Esporte " I am happy. I have still not been presented, but it is a big European club and i'm happy. It would be a dream for everyone. He further said thus " I had already been talking with Chelsea and i signed when i came to the Selecao. It was in the hotel, they were there at night for me to sign. Everything was agreed, its only was missing a signature."
Oscar is Chelsea's fourth major signing of the summer.
