Jose Mourinho recently says it "hurts" him that the British football publicly have got the wrong impression of the Colombia striker, and wants to help him regain his prolific form back.
The Chelsea Manager latter says he will relish the opportunity to help Radamel Falcao get back to his best form if the striker signs for Chelsea.
Radamel Falcao was a flop during his load spell at Manchester United but when representing his home country at international duty, he is the goal machine.
Falcao is still a nice player that can be revived if giving the opportunity and Mourinho who is the driving force behind the Blues' interest in the Colombian striker believes he can help return him to the prolific form he showed at Porto and Atletico Madrid before moving to Monaco.
Mourinho directly open up in public, telling DirecTv Sports thus:
"It really hurts me that people in England believe that Falcao is the guy they saw at Manchester United."He's a player I know, one that I've followed since Atletico Madrid and if I can help Falcao arrive at his level I will do it."
Falcao is willing to stay in the Premier League but definitely not at Old Trafford anymore. Manchester United decides not to take up the option-to-buy clause after his one year load spell with the club because he failed to make positive impact having scored only 9 goals in 26 appearances for the Red Devils.
Now that Jose Mourinho is keen to link up with the 29 year-old Monaco striker at Stamford Bridge and if the striker agrees to reduce his wages, then the deal will strike.
But the question is, will Roman Abramovich be cool with this? Lets watch and see.
