Chelsea begins their pre-season tour away in Asia where they played their first pre-season match with Thailand All Stars in Bangkok. Chelsea young striker Dominic Solanke's early strike in 13 minutes sealed a 0-1 win over the Thailand All Stars.
The England Under-19 international was outstanding through out the
game as he pen his name in the book with a nice finish from Loic Remy's
low right-wing cross into the left-hand bottom corner of the net to give
Chelsea a win.
Chelsea dominated the game from there and also went close adding a second on several occasion. Eden Hazard, Cesar Azpilicueta and Solanke all missed vital opportunities on goal.
Jose Mourinho kept players like John Terry, Diego Costa and Hazard on the bench in the first half before they were introduced in the second half.
Chelsea will now travel to Australia and take on Sydney FC at the ANZ Stadium on Tuesday.
