Chelsea could offer Frank Lampard a new deal

Roman Abramovich could have a change of heart and offer a new deal to Frank Lampard due to the level of his performances at the club recently. During the January transfer window last month, the Blues couldn't sign a replacement for the 34 year old whose contract is due to expire at the end of the season.

We got report from a reputable source mirror.co.uk that Roman Abramovich may decide to instruct the Chelsea board to open talks and reach an agreement with the veteran midfielder who has been a useful icon for the club recently.

Initially, Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard were allowed to leave the club at the end of the season due to the club's age policy but it looks like the owner has had a change of heart and offered Ashley Cole a year deal. Now it will not be a surprise that Frank Lampard could be next in line.

That is a great news so far isn't it? Considering his top level performances for the club recently, i think he deserve it.
