Werder Bremen wish to sign Chelsea midfielder Kevin De Bruyne

Werder Bremen Sporting Director Klaus Allofs has said that, the Bundesliga outfit had been tracking Chelsea loan midfielder Kelvin De Bruyne for two to three years before Chelsea finally show up to sign the Belgian. The former Genk young star who was loaned last summer transfer window out to Werder Bremen has been in impressive form which makes the club now seek to sign him outrightly.

According to the club's Sporting director, Kelvin De Bruyne was on their track for a number of years but they were unable to compete with Chelsea in signing him. But they are happy to have him play for them now on a season long-loan deal and would love the young talented midfielder to stay. But unfortunately, the Belgium international will be heading back to Stamford Bridge for 2013/14 season campaign.

"We followed Kevin De Bruyne for two or three years", the sporting director told Belgian TV. "We sent our scouts to scrutinize Belgian football and De Bruyne was very special. Allofs said. "He Has Everything" "More Complete Player" "Almost all the reports we received on him were very, very positive. "Then Chelsea succeeded in getting him. "He was just too expensive for us."

Werder Bremen would no doubt be happy to jump at a chance to take De Bruyne on a permanent basis at the end of the season, but only if Chelsea decided to cash in the midfielder. Of which i doubt the Blues will do so considering the fact that they are yet to enjoy the skills of the young midfielder.
