Chelsea finally fall from top spot of the League table after playing a 1-1 draw at Swansea. Pablo Hernandez superb strike at the 88th minute denied Chelsea all three points at the Liberty Stadium. Meanwhile, it was Chelsea who took the lead in the second half through Victor Moses header, who scored his first league goal for Chelsea since his move to Stamford Bridge from Wigan. The host fought hard and took control to stop Roberto di Matteo's side returning to the top of the Premier League.
However, Manchester United's lunchtime win over poor Arsenal sees them at the top of the table leading Chelsea with just one point. Fernando Torres resume from his controversial suspension against Manchester United last week, but he wasn't impressive enough to strike today. The former Liverpool man saw his header cleared off the Swansea goal-line, which was a great chance he could have converted.
On the other hand, Di Matteo decides to give Victor Moses an opportunity to start today in place of injured Juan Mata, and he served well giving his club the lead shortly after half time from Hazard's corner kick. Eden Hazard's delivery was met by the head of Gary Cahill and Moses nodded it past Tremmel into the net. But alas, it was a wake-up call for Michael Laudrup's side who then dominated the game.
Their persistence paid off after 88 minutes when Spanish striker Hernandez, who had been causing problems in Chelsea defence, produced a superb finish from the edge of the area to restore parity and give Swansea a share of the the points. Both teams shared points at full time. Time to brace up for a new challenge Blues.
