Chelsea defender David Luiz has urge the club to sign Colombian striker Radamel Falcao. The Brazilian talented player has rated the Atletico Madrid main man as the best no. 9 Chelsea would have. He further said the Colombian would be a great player at Chelsea if he comes to Stamford Bridge.
In an interview on Wednesday in Florida when Brazil played a friendly match with Colombia, David Luiz told Brazilian media thus: "He (Falcao) would fit perfectly in to the squad", "we would all be happy (if he signed) because Falcao would undoubtedly be a great player for our team".
Luiz said a lot about Falcao that "He is very difficult to stop. He is an excellent striker"
Falcao on the other hand has said much about his future thus: "I am very happy at Atletico at this time. I am proud to be here and I still have three years to go on my contract", he added "There is some talk about my departure at the end of the season, but right now i am perfectly fine in Madrid"
Meanwhile, any potential move for Falcao would definitely be the end of Fernando Torres' run as Chelsea's main number 9. He has been tipped as the potential replacement for the Spaniard unless if the club decides to play the two strikers upfront which would definitely means a change in formation.
