Santos denied making a fresh bid for Chelsea out of favour winger

Santos vice president has strongly disagrees with the rumour that the club have launched a fresh bid on Chelsea's midfielder Flourent Malouda. The club president was quoted as saying "We Don't Want Chelsea's Florent Malouda" some few hours ago.

Santos a Brazilian giants club, who has great players with the likes of Neymar, has earlier been reported to\ have made a bid to sign Malouda. The 32-year-old whose contract with Chelsea is at the verge of expiration, was said to be linked with so many clubs including his former club Lyon. While Santos' vice-president Rodrigues Odilio has confirmed that the club were indeed tracking Malouda earlier this year, but he has totally denied any renewed bid for the Frenchman.

"We had a conversation with the player in the middle of the year", Odilio told Brazilian daily Lance. "But today, he is not in our plans. "We're not negotiating with Malouda. We have other priorities in the
transfer market. "We know that he is a great player, but we have not made a new offer."

Malouda has been sidelined at Chelsea. We Don't Want Chelsea's Florent Malouda Insists Santos Vice-president. The winger was not included in Chelsea's squad to play in the Champions League this season and has also been training with the club's youngsters. Malouda's contract with the Blues expires at the end of the season. He has also been linked with his former club Lyon, but the club insist the finances was too expensive only he could adjust it.
