According to CaughtOffside.com, Chelsea
has made an official approach for Manchester United Striker Javier Hernandez. Other
reports also confirm this offer to be true that the Blues are keen on bringing
Chicharito to Stamford Bridge. This offer is
said to have been made immediately Manchester United officially announced the
signing of Robin Van Persie from Arsenal, in other to tempt the 24 year old
Mexican International now that his playing time will be at stake if he stays at
Old Trafford.
Chicharito has found it very difficult to cement a regular spot
last season in Manchester United's first team squad as he was already playing third
fiddle to Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck and now that Van Persie's contract is
sealed for four years, a possible transfer for the striker is only the best
solution.
The West London club has spent all
summer lining up moves for a new striker following the departure of Ivorian
talisman Didier Drogba. The Lancashire club has moved for Napoli striker EdisonCavani, Porto attacker Hulk and Wigan talented
winger/striker Victor Moses so far. And now the Blues owner Roman Abramovich may
consider a move for Chicharito too. But considering the rivalry existing
between the two clubs, does Chelsea really have any chance in persuading
Ferguson to sell his player to them at all cost?
Abramovich has already dish
out over £60million this summer to bring in Eden Hazard, Marko Marin, Thorgan
Hazard and Oscar but i still doubt the possibility of Chelsea securing a deal with Manchester
United over Javier Hernandez A.K.A. Chicharito. Or what did you think?
