Chelsea Target Manchester United Flop Could Mean Remy Will Be Out?

If Chelsea end up signing Manchester United flop Radamel Falcao, it means Loic Remy will be leaving Stamford Bridge. Remy has been a good backup striker for Diego Costa and he did absolutely well when call upon.

In my opinion, the French International should be giving the chance to be number one striker for Chelsea since he has an eye for goals and has so far been perfect for the club last season.

Remy’s goals has been vital for Chelsea finishing top of the league table but I think with Chelsea going after Falcao means Loic Remy could be leaving to another club.

Chelsea are currently in talks to sign Radamel Falcao from Monaco. The Colombian international has been a target for Chelsea ever since when he was at Athletico Madrid before he left for Monaco. Falcao spent last season on loan to Manchester United but couldn’t make any impact and was term a flop after recording just 4 goals in 26 appearances at Old Trafford.

However, that poor record hasn’t been a discouragement for Chelsea but the huge wages which he has agreed to reduce. Falcao currently collects £265,000 a week as wages which Chelsea are not willing to pay plus the £43m transfer fee that United were asked to pay in order to sign the Colombians striker permanently.

But report reveals that both Falcao and Monaco are willing to reach a negotiable agreement to reduce the wages and transfer cost which Chelsea might accept.

Falcao’s agent is Jorge Mendes who also work as Jose Mourinho’s agent. Chelsea will be seeking to add a top striker as Didier Drogba already left Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

Should Falcao be brought in or do you prefer Remy? Over to you fans.
