Chelsea
mid-fielder Cesc Fabregas has said during his interview with media reporters
that his ambition now is to win the champions league with Chelsea. The 27 year
old Spanish player has never won the prestigious trophy despite playing for
Arsenal in the tournament in 2006 as they was defeated by FC Barcelona.
During his
three years stay at Barcelona, he also miss out to play in the finals three times.
Speaking
with reporters, he said“It is important, the Champions League is the competition I still need to win. “It would give me enormous satisfaction. We have a great team. I do not know if it will happen this year, next year or in the next five years. This is football.”
Chelsea will continue their champion’s
league match against Maribor on Wednesday and the Spaniard said they will do
all their best to win the match and qualify to the next round.
