David Luiz has really excelled playing as a midfielder than at center defense. The Samba star looks more relaxed and comfortable when playing in the middle and Chelsea interim manager Rafael Benitez admits he might consider handing the Brazilian a more regular role in the midfield after another impressive showing as the Blues rout Aston Villa 8-0.
The former Benfica player was also one of the star men in the 8-0 demolition of Ashton Villa and he scored with a brillian free kick. Luiz brilliant performance playing as a midfielder has made Benitez to believe he could play him (Luiz) further up the field on a more regular basis.
He said: 'We will analyze it carefully. Maybe, if he can relax, he can play more games in this position because it's easier for him to rest here.'
