Marin joined the Blues from Werder Bremen in July for £7million and since then, he has just made his competitive debut for the club against Wolves yesterday.

The team performances yesterday was terrific and perfect which makes the 23-year-old midfielder believed that Chelsea are capable of challenging honours at the end of the season. This is because the club is strengthened so well over with good defenders, midfielders and attackers. The club is currently defending and offending perfectly.

He said "If you are to win the Premier League and Champions League, you need a lot of quality players. Chelsea have changed a lot since last season and now we have more attractive and offensive players. "We hope that there are a lot of goals in this team because then it is more difficult for the other teams to play against us."

Chelsea will face their real Premier League title test as they travel to Arsenal on Saturday's crunch Premier League tie. The Blues are now on top of the table but are yet to face tough clubs while the Gunners have recovered well from the loss of Robin Van Persie to Manchester United in the transfer window.

And Marin claims Arsene Wenger 's side are yet to face a real test, like they will against the Blues. "They have a good team but they lost Van Persie, who was the best scorer last season," the German midfielder went on to say. "I'm not sure they have played against a good team like us."
