Since the departure of the Ivorian striker Didier Drogba form Chelsea to Shangai Shenhua, there has been speculations over Chelsea's performances henceforth. But big thanks to Chelsea's recent signing of young talented players as well as promises made by Fernando Torres that he will make sure he plays the Drogba role at Chelsea.
Fernando Torres made his promises that he is certain of filling Drogba's shoes for Chelsea. Drogba joined the Chinese out fit last month after pondering 157 goals in eight years at Stamford Bridge including the late equalizer and the winning penalty in a shootout against Bayern Munich in the Champions League final on May 19. Torres who has had his ups and down since leaving Liverpool for Chelsea in January 2011, said he was looking forward to taking on the pressure of the leading line for the European Champions.
