Didier Drogba former Chelsea striker made his debut in his new Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua yesterday Sunday. Shanghai was held to a 1-1 draw at fourth place Gangzhou yesterday after Brazilian defender Moises send the ball into his own net in the first half but a decisive pass from Drogba to Chinese U23 international Cao Yunding restores parity.
Drogba, who only arrived in China under a fortnight ago, did not feature during the midweek Chinese FA Cup match against Changchun Yatai but played a leading role as Shenhua secured a point at Yuexiushan Stadium.
